On June 20, “Remember the Affection to No. 1 Middle School and Keep in Mind the Ambition of Family-Country” 2018 Commencement and “Coming-of-age Ceremony” of Guiyang No. 1 Middle School were held at the gymnasium of Guiyang No. 1 Middle School. Professor XU Qi, Honorary Chairman of Guizhou Provincial Literature Federation, Executive Chairman of Confucius Academy Academic Board, President of Guizhou Association of Philosophy, was invited for attending the ceremony.

Through activities of raising national flag, playing the national anthem, commending excellent students, and implementing artistic performance, oath-taking ceremony and coming-of-age ceremony, lectures of the superior, exchange of gifts between teachers and students. Over 1,700 graduates were declared graduated and entered into their adulthood, witnessed by school leaders, teachers and parents’ representatives in the flag-raising ceremony with solemn atmosphere and in the melodious music played by junior fellow students.

It's learned from MA Yijun, Director of the Teaching Affairs Section of Guiyang No. 1 Middle School, current commencement added with “Coming-of-age Ceremony and Oath-taking Ceremony” and “Lectures of the Superior” is the result of common agreement for forging cultural exchange platform on the basis of cooperation with Guiyang Confucius Academy Culture Communication Center on the “High-land of Chinese Classics” for the strategy of Guiyang No. 1 Middle School of “Promoting the School Development by Culture”. Subsequently, Guiyang No. 1 Middle School will also set up the agreement on cooperation framework with Confucius Academy. Then, both parties shall co-forge the cultural exchange platform based on strong alliance, mutual complementation of advantages and resource sharing.
