In the evening of July 15, “Yuan Fang De Ke Ren Qing Ni Liu Xia Lai” (Guest from far away, please stay) Concert of Pipa Classics Performed by YANG Jing and Her Students held at Guiyang Confucius Academy. YANG Jing, well-known Pipa Concert Performer, Professor and master and doctorial tutor of China Conservatory of Music, and her students performed several beautiful Chinese and foreign masterpieces of music, leading the audience at the scene to their enjoyment on the music during midsummer.
Yang Jing and her students not only brought about the beautiful concert of Pipa classics, but also held a public lecture on traditional cultures for the popularization of folk music knowledge. YANG Jing said, Pipa is called “the King of Plucked Instruments” with a history of more than two thousand years.
